From the Mouths…

(day 23)

Sweet, wonderful children of mine. Dad needs a little help with today’s Slice of Lice Challenge blog post. While I’m getting showers ready and finishing packing stuff for the tonight thing (thanks as always for your help, you’re brilliant) please write my post for me by answering the following three questions. Remember, this is a highly professional blog I run, watch syntax, grammar, spelling, and all other writing conventions and, of course, no stream of consciousness or other tangent writing devices may be employed. Thank you! (btw you each have about 10 minutes and then we out!)

Your prompt –

What do you like best about spring?

What would you like to do most with this week off?

What do you think people who read my blog posts should know about your dad?

Big One – My favorite part of spring is the few days where the weather is actually decent and I can spend time outside with friends. With the week off that we get I try my best to spend time with friends as much is I can. Finally to the people who these posts should know that my dad really does do everything that he can to try and watch all of our things be it a track meet or a baseball practice.

Middle Guy-My favorite part of spring is when their is nice days and we get to play outside and play wiffleball as well as playing in my baseball games.  The stuff I would like to do with this week off his start off my baseball season good and go to my grandmas house. Finally the people who read my dads blogs are that he is a very nice person and knows alot about sports and he loves the march madness tournament.

BG (Baby Girl)- what i like abowt spring is all of the basball games. I would like to go to in indoor pool.people should know that my dad is a nice prsin.

I will reflect on this and explain the reasons for going this route which I’m sure you can tell are a combo platter of busyness, overextension, and poor first day of break time management. I haven’t read these yet but my kids are awesome so I’m sure there’s some good stuff in here despite them being rushed and given no think time or Kagan structures from which to sort all of this out.

  1. Always trust the “babes.” I love this approach! It’s obvious that the apples didn’t fall far from the tree, either. I hope your kids get their Spring Break wishes.

  2. What a great idea to have the babes share their point of view. BTW, I definitely laughed at your last line … ” I’m sure there’s some good stuff in here despite them being rushed and given no think time or Kagan structures from which to sort all of this out.”
